Rishank Devadiga Backs Puneri Paltan as Final Contenders in PKL 12.

Rishank Devadiga praised Puneri Paltan’s 40-22 win over U Mumba, calling them strong contenders for the PKL 12 final alongside Delhi. He highlighted Jaipur Pink Panthers’ effective raiding duo, criticized Bengal Warriorz’s weak defense, and noted U Mumba’s struggles without Ajit Chouhan, stressing his importance for their future performances.

In the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 Rivalry Week, Puneri Paltan produced a dominant 40-22 victory over U Mumba, which has firmly placed them in contention for the final, according to JioStar expert Rishank Devadiga. He praised Pune’s strong form, calling them one of the front-runners alongside Delhi, with both teams looking assured of playoff spots. Devadiga also analyzed the Jaipur Pink Panthers’ narrow win over Bengal Warriorz, crediting raiders Nitin Dhankhar and Ali Samadi for their consistent and cohesive performance that helped the team stay in control.

He, however, criticized Bengal Warriorz’s defense, which once again failed to support the team, leaving Devank to carry the responsibility almost single-handedly. On U Mumba’s defeat, Devadiga pointed out the absence of Ajit Chouhan as a decisive factor.

He stated that Ajit’s presence could have changed the game’s momentum, possibly leading to an all-out, but without him, U Mumba’s raiders struggled to rise to the challenge. Overall, Devadiga emphasized that Puneri Paltan’s current momentum makes them strong title contenders, while U Mumba urgently need Ajit Chouhan back to regain their competitive edge in PKL 12.
