UP Yoddhas have named right corner defender Krishan Dhull as the replacement for raider Pranay Rane, who is ruled out of PKL 12 due to injury. Rane had 122 points in 37 matches across three seasons. Dhull, with 160 tackle points, 10 Super Tackles, and nine High 5s in 85 matches over four seasons, will strengthen the Yoddhas’ defense for the remainder of the season.

With the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 underway, UP Yoddhas have faced a significant setback as their raider Pranay Rane has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury. The 24-year-old, who was signed by the franchise for his base price of INR 13 lakhs, has previously played for U Mumba in PKL 9 and 10, and for Warriorz in the last season.

Across three seasons, Rane has accumulated 122 points in 37 matches, averaging 3.24 raid points per game, along with three Super 10s. Unfortunately, he was unable to feature for the Yoddhas in the ongoing edition before his injury. To fill the void, the franchise has named right corner defender Krishan Dhull as Rane’s replacement. Dhull brings experience from four seasons across three teams, having represented Dabang Delhi in PKL 8 and 9, Patna Pirates in PKL 10, and Telugu Titans in PKL 11.

Over 85 matches, he has earned 160 tackle points, including 10 Super Tackles and nine High 5s, making him a reliable defensive option for the Yoddhas. This change aims to strengthen the squad’s defense as they continue their campaign in PKL 12. Krishan Dhull’s inclusion provides depth and experience, giving UP Yoddhas a chance to stabilize their performance after a challenging start in the league.
