For the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 clash in Jaipur, Bengaluru Bulls edged past Gujarat Giants 28-24 in a thrilling encounter at the SMS Indoor Stadium. Despite a late surge from the Giants, it was the Bulls’ defensive discipline, spearheaded by captain Yogesh, that proved decisive. Yogesh scored six points and contributed crucial tackles, while Akash Shinde led the raiding with seven points.

The Bulls started strongly, with early contributions from raiders Aashish Malik and Shinde keeping them ahead. Sanjay Dhull and Alireza Mirzaian ensured the Giants’ raiders struggled, maintaining a 5-4 edge after the first exchanges. Gujarat briefly seized momentum when Visvanth V executed a Super Raid, putting the Giants ahead 6-5. However, Bengaluru regained control in the second quarter, with Shinde’s Super Raid dismissing Shadloui and Nitin Panwar, preventing a potential ALL OUT.

Timely tackles from Jitender Yadav and consistent raids kept the Bulls ahead 17-13 at halftime. Bengaluru extended their lead to 23-16 by the third quarter, with Yogesh producing a crucial Super Tackle to thwart Gujarat’s ALL OUT attempts. Despite a spirited fourth-quarter comeback led by Rakesh and Parteek, the Bulls’ defence held firm, with Yogesh’s perfectly timed High Five sealing the 28-24 victory, allowing Bengaluru Bulls to return to winning ways.
