The game of cricket might be known as a batter's game, but there are moments where the bowlers get a chance to shine. One of these iconic instances was seen during the CPL game between TKR and SLK, as Tabraiz Shamsi completely foxed Andre Russell with a beautiful delivery that lit up his stumps.

‌The Trinbago Knight Riders ' five-game winning streak came to an end as defending champions St Lucia Kings beat them in a one-sided game at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. While there were some great performances in the game within the Kings' playing squad, the man who stole the show was Tabraiz Shamsi. The left-arm wrist spinner bowled a terrific spell of 3/12 in his full quota of four overs, which also earned him the player of the match award. Shamsi was a nightmare for the Trinbago batters during the match, which also included the likes of Knight Riders' explosive batting all rounder  Andre Russell.
The West Indian power-hitter came to the crease in the 11th over and started his innings with some aggressive strokes early on. However, the threat of Russell was negated in the following over as Shamsi struck on the third delivery, which spun back in sharply and crashed into the stumps of the legendary all-rounder. While the South African continued to celebrate the wicket with his iconic shoe celebration, Russell was left dumbfounded at the crease and could only see his stumps being lit up in the end after missing the ball completely in an attempt at a wild slog over the mid-wicket region.
The wrist spinner extinguished the fire of Dre Russ.
