As the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 action heated up in Vizag, Haryana Steelers pulled off a nerve-wracking victory over U Mumba in a tie-breaker to register their first win of the campaign. The clash was filled with twists, highlighted by Ajit Chouhan’s Super 10 for U Mumba and Naveen Kumar’s game-changing raid late in the second half. U Mumba started dominantly, racing to a 12-2 lead and enforcing the fastest All Out of the season within six minutes.
Ajit Chouhan kept the Steelers under pressure, but Haryana responded with an All Out of their own, reducing the gap to 12-16. The defending champions fought back further, with Vinay and Shivam leading the charge, yet U Mumba held a narrow 23-20 lead at halftime. The second half saw Ajit extend U Mumba’s advantage to 31-25 before Naveen Kumar inspired a comeback.
His brilliant Super Raid in the closing minutes inflicted an All Out and put Haryana ahead for the first time. With the match locked at 36-36, the game moved into a tie-breaker. In the decider, Shivam Patare delivered the knockout punch with a stunning Super Raid on Rohit, Sandeep, and Rinku, sealing a memorable triumph for Haryana Steelers
