Jamie O’Hara Urges Manchester United to Rehire Solskjaer Amid Amorim Pressure.

Ruben Amorim faces growing criticism at Manchester United, with pundit Jamie O’Hara insisting the club should swallow their pride and bring back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Recently sacked by Besiktas after 29 games, Solskjaer is seen as a stopgap to restore stability. O’Hara warned United risk relegation if Amorim remains in charge.

For the second time in recent weeks, pundit Jamie O’Hara has urged Manchester United to consider bringing back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as pressure mounts on current boss Ruben Amorim. United appointed Amorim as permanent manager after Erik ten Hag’s departure, with Ruud van Nistelrooy serving briefly in the interim. However, results and performances have drawn heavy criticism, and O’Hara believes the club must “swallow their pride” and admit they made the wrong call.

Solskjaer, who managed United between 2018 and 2021, was recently sacked by Turkish side Besiktas after just 29 games in charge, following a Conference League play-off defeat to Lausanne-Sport, who are also owned by Ineos. Despite that setback, O’Hara insists Solskjaer could act as a stabilizing presence, claiming he could bring back unity, freedom, and calm within the squad.

Speaking before United’s match against Burnley, O’Hara described the Norwegian as “not the worst shout in the world,” adding that a short-term return could benefit the team. He has since doubled down on his view, warning that keeping Amorim risks relegation, even suggesting United could end up facing clubs like Rotherham next season. His stance comes after Sheffield United reappointed Chris Wilder, showing willingness to reverse previous decisions.
