Juventus Gear Up for Champions League 2025-26

Juventus begin their Champions League campaign on September 16 against Borussia Dortmund, with new signings Jonathan David, Lois Openda, Joao Mario, and Edon Zhegrova strengthening Igor Tudor’s squad.

When the Champions League group stage begins this month, Juventus will rely on a mix of new faces and experienced stars to push for success. Head coach Igor Tudor has bolstered his attack with summer arrivals Jonathan David and Lois Openda, both proven in Europe. David has scored 10 goals in 18 Champions League matches, while Openda has five in 25 outings. They will support Dusan Vlahovic, who has six goals from 16 games, easing the pressure on the Serbian striker.

Joao Mario, with 19 European appearances for Porto, and Edon Zhegrova, who has featured six times, strengthen the flanks. One notable absentee is Arkadiusz Milik, left out of the 29-man squad amid speculation over a move to Turkey, with Samsunspor keen to secure his services before the September 12 transfer deadline. Juventus’ campaign kicks off on September 16 at home against Borussia Dortmund, followed by away trips to Villarreal and Real Madrid in October.

November brings Sporting Lisbon to Turin before games against Bodo/Glimt and Pafos. Benfica visit in December, with the final group clash against AS Monaco on January 28. Tudor’s squad includes key names like Locatelli, McKennie, Kostic, Koopmeiners and Thuram alongside the new signings.
