Milan, under Allegri, may include Thiaw, valued at €15 million, to balance finances and reunite Vlahović with his former coach.
As the 2025-26 Serie A season approaches, AC Milan and Juventus are exploring a potential high-profile swap deal involving striker Dušan Vlahović and defender Malick Thiaw. Juventus, despite Vlahović’s strong pre-season performances, are eager to offload the Serbian forward due to his high salary. AC Milan, now under the leadership of former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, are interested in reuniting with Vlahović, whom Allegri once pushed to sign in 2022.
To balance the books, Milan are considering offering 23-year-old German center-back Malick Thiaw as part of the deal. Thiaw, valued at €15 million, impressed last season but is seen as potentially expendable in Milan’s new tactical setup. Juventus, however, reportedly want at least €20 million in value for Vlahović to avoid a significant loss on their original €80 million investment.
While no formal contacts have been made yet, insiders believe the swap deal, possibly supplemented by structured payments or additional players, could satisfy both clubs by August. The negotiation reflects the financial constraints Italian clubs face and their reliance on creative transfer strategies. If completed, this move could reshape both squads and bring Vlahović back under Allegri’s command at Milan.
