‌Pakistan had a dreadful start after opting to bat first against India in their Asia Cup T20 2025 game in Dubai. Hardik Pandya provided the Men in Blue with the perfect start as he struck with the first legal delivery of the match.

After starting the match with an in-swinger that went for a wide, the Indian all-rounder corrected his radar to dismiss Pakistan opener Saim Ayub. He pitched an outswinging delivery on a short of a length around off-stump with the left-handed batter trying to play the backfoot punch away from the body. 

The late swing meant the batter was not in control as he ended up playing the shot in the air. Jasprit Bumrah, who was stationed at backward point, made no mistake as he pouched a straight forward chance.

The Indian fans went haywire as Pandya provided the perfect recipe for the weekend crowd who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. Twitter went berserk as Pandya continued to show that he has the knack of picking up wickets at a crucial time.
