Asia Cup 2025 | Twitter reacts as Kaleem shocked Afridi with some attractive strokes

There are many instances in the game of cricket where some unknown figures get a chance to shine against some of the best players in international cricket. Aamir Kaleem lived one of those moments as he surprised Pakistan's premier pacer Shaheen Afridi, with some beautiful strokes.

Kaleem opened the batting alongside his skipper, Jatinder Singh, and though his stay at the crease was very short, he still entertained the fans with some attractive shots. Some of the magical strokes came in the third over, where the right-handed batter was up against Pakistan’s pacer Shaheen Afridi. Kaleem got his opportunity to shine on the third delivery, where he pulled the left-arm seamer for six and followed it up with a terrific shot in the next delivery as he gave himself room and slashed Afridi through covers. Though he was eventually dismissed for 13 by Saim Ayub, he still managed to entertain the fans with some classy shots off one of the top pacers of Pakistan.
Kaleem got his moment in the spotlight while taking on one of the best bowlers in the game.
