Asia Cup 2025 | Twitter in splits as Agha gets dismissed for a duck on waist high full toss

A wicket is always a memorable moment for a bowler, but there are certain deliveries where the bowlers tend to get a breakthrough by a stroke of luck. One such ball was bowled by Oman’s left-arm spinner Aamir Kaleem, who dismissed Pakistan skipper Salman Agha of a juicy full toss.

Kaleem dismisses Agha salman on a full toss

‌The fourth match of the Asia Cup between Pakistan and Oman started with a bit of drama as the Green Shirts lost an early wicket of Saim Ayub in the first over of the match. However, a partnership between Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan got their team out of trouble with an 85-run stand, with Haris bringing up his half-century in just 32 balls with some fearless strokes and Farhan playing an anchor role at the other end. However, Aamir Kaleem got Oman back in the game with three wickets to his name as he got both the set batters and Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha in the 13th over. Though the first two wickets were of decent deliveries, the wicket of Agha was just a fortunate outcome for the 43-year-old left-arm spinner.

Kaleem had already dismissed Haris on a score of 65 as the latter could not execute a reverse sweep and ended up chopping the ball onto his stumps. Agha had just arrived to the crease and was welcomed with a juicy waist high full toss by Kaleem. While everyone thought that the talented batting all rounder would smash the ball for six, Afgha played a half hearted pull shot and ended up giving a simple catch to Hammad Mirza at deep mid wicket. As the Pakistan skipper was dismissed for a first ball duck Kaleem was seen celebrating by thanking the lord for gifting him a wicket of one of the worst deliveries in the game of cricket.

The 43-year-old spinner earned big breakthrough with a stroke of luck.
