Saxena’s departure was followed by Akarsh AK’s dismissal within the next 15 runs. He scored 46 runs off 33 balls, with five fours and two sixes. However, Akash Pillai and Anuj Jotin stitched a crucial 47-run partnership for the third wicket, with both batters scoring 33 runs each off 27 and 22 balls, respectively. These contributions helped the Ripples post 137/9 in the allotted 20 overs. Amal AG bagged three wickets for 22 runs in his three overs, alongside Pavan Raj’s tight spell of two wickets for just 13 runs in three overs, including a maiden over. Apart from these two, Sachin Baby, Sharafuddeen, and Ajayaghosh N S scalped a wicket each.
