The Australian franchise tournament champions, Hobart Hurricanes and ILT20 holders, Dubai Capitals will face on each other in the third game of the ongoing Global Super League 2025. The game will be played at the Guyana’s Providence Stadium on July 11, at 7:30 PM (IST). It will be a crucial game for both teams considering their journey further in the tournament.
Dubai Capitals are coming off an amazing season in the International League T20 earlier this year. They defeated the Desert Vipers by 4 wickets in the tournament’s final to clinch the title. They are also coming off four consecutive wins, following a defeat in their last five T20 games, including the ILT20 2025 final.
Speaking of the Hobart Hurricanes, they also enjoyed an outstanding BBL 2024-25 season. They lifted the title after defeating the Sydney Thunder by 7 wickets in the tournament’s summit clash. They have also won four games, alongside losing only one in their last five T20 fixtures. The Hurricanes will also be eyeing winning this game to get off the mark in GSL 2025.

DC vs HH Head-to-Head in T20S
Dubai Capitals and Hobart Hurricanes haven’t faced each other earlier in this T20 cricket. They will be taking on each other for the first time in the upcoming third fixture of the Global Super League 2025.
DC 50-50 HH
Pitch and Weather
Providence Stadium in Guyana will offer a balanced surface, with a slight inclination towards the batters in the first half of the game. However, the bowlers (mostly pacers) will get some help at this track in the second half of the game. The average first-innings score here has been 150 runs while the overall average score is 135. So, batting first after winning the toss will be a wise move to go ahead with.
The weather will be a bit cloudy at the start of the game, with the chances of a few showers. The humidity will also be there as the game progresses to the second half. The minimum temperature will be 24 degrees Celsius, with the maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.
Team News
Dubai Capitals are expected to go with the same playing XI they played with in their campaign opener against the Central Districts. There are very less chances that the management would be making any changes just in their second game in the tournament’s current edition.
On the other hand, Hobart Hurricanes will be playing their first game in the tournament, so they will look forward to place their best XI on the field in this game against the Capitals.
DC Probable XI:Seddiqullah Atal, Alishan Sharafu, Syed Haider (WK), Haider Ali, Bevon Jacobs, Rovman Powell (C), Kadeem Alleyne, Kaleem Sana, Dominic Drakes, Farhan Khan, Zeeshan Naseer.
HH Probable XI: Tim Ward, Macalister Wright, Ben McDermott (WK), Sahibzada Farhan, Jake Doran, Mohammad Nabi, Marcus Bean, Jackson Bird, Nikhil Chaudhary, Billy Stanlake, Odean Smith.
