WATCH, The Hundred | Issy Wong pays back Isa Guha in kind after being embarrassed on TV

The opposite of love is not hate but ignorance goes the old wisdom, just ask Issy Wong. The English pacer was embarrassed on live television when Isa Guha left her hanging after an interaction but Wong made sure to get her revenge with a time worn trick as soon as she had the opportunity.
London Spirit Women got off to the perfect start in the latest season of The Hundred with wins against Oval Invincibles and Welsh Fire taking them to the top of the table. Right-arm Issy Wong played integral roles in both triumphs, scalping world-beaters Marizanne Kapp and Meg Lanning in the opener before returning brilliant figures of 1/19 from 20 deliveries against the Fire which included the wicket of Hayley Matthews. However, the 23-year-old did not enjoy the same success off the field but kept up her sparkling form with a brilliant riposte there too.
After an interaction by the boundary ropes with former English quick and renowned broadcaster Isa Guha following the Invincibles encounter, Wong had offered a courteous handshake to mark the end of their conversation. Guha could never replicate the gesture as she quickly turned around to face the cameras, missing Wong's extended hand in the process. Once the moment did the rounds on social media, Guha made sure to reedeem herself by offering a handshake as soon as they met next on the sidelines. However, Wong wasn't one to let things go as she pretended to accept the invitation before quickly revoking her hand and making a face instead, sending Guha and the internet in splits.
