IPL 2019 | Twitter hails Shubman Gill as the next Virat Kohli after his knock against KXIP

It was a do or die game for both Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knightriders, but it was Chris Lynn's quickfire 46 off 22 balls and Shubhman Gill's calm and composed innings till the end that won the match for KKR and kept them in the hunt for the playoff spot. Twitterati showered praises on Gill.
Exciting times lie ahead!
Shubman Gill....future of Indian batting is in very exciting hands. Now, take the team home....make it a habit. ☺️🤗🏏

Already ahead of Pant and Shaw in the hearts of the fans!
SHUBMAN GILL IS PURE LOVE.
— Vinod Ramnath (@NaanumEngineer)
I won't bet on Prithvi Shaw yet with consistency issues, I would love Rishabh Pant to sort his head out & come back stronger but I'd any day back Gill to be a real superstar in International cricket. Boy has the game to play all 3 formats.
The solution to India's problems!
Shubman Gill is such an exceptional talent. He will go on to solve India’s No. 4 problems in ODI cricket in a couple of years time or who knows sooner!
— Debjit Lahiri (@DebjitL)
Well put!
Is Poor man’s Virat Kohli!
— Dôçtōr štrãńgę (@h4riuu)
Speaks volumes!
Shubman Gill has overtaken Prithvi Shaw in the leading run scorers list with much lesser opportunities at the opening spot
— bk. (@iamsrktheking)
The baton will be passed on soon!
Sunil Gavaskar.... Sachin Tendulkar...Virat Kohli....Shubman Gill
— Dhruv Shah (@dhruvshah92)
Maybe!
KKR could’ve easily qualified for the playoffs if they promoted Shubman Gill 5-6 matches earlier. Still better late than never.
— God of Thunder ⚡️⚡️ (@Mana_K_Tum_)
He took his time to settle. And when he gets going, it’s pure love to watch ❤️
