During the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) session at PlayCom 2025 in New Delhi, Anupam Goswami, Business Head of Mashal Sports and PKL Chairman, highlighted the critical role of professional leagues in shaping modern Indian sports. He emphasized that sustainable growth of any league relies on four key pillars, fans, quality of competition, talent pipeline, and governance. Goswami stressed the importance of constantly evolving platforms to meet fan expectations while maintaining the highest level of competition.

He noted that PKL aims to grow kabaddi beyond India, balancing domestic and international talent to offer fans world-class matches.
