He is able to get the opportunity to play constantly for the team in the T20I format, and now also being able to represent at the ODI format. But this is coming at the loss of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was once an integral part of the Indian team in the T20I format.

Despite this, Yashasvi Jaiswal is able to prove himself consistently to the team in the Test format, as he scored 411 runs in the England tour, with 2 centuries and 2 half-centuries.

Despite his best efforts, it seems that Yashasvi Jaiswal is being ignored by the BCCI, and the limelight is being put up to Abhishek Sharma. Jaiswal also finished as Rajasthan’s top run scorer in IPL 2025, with 559 runs in 14 matches at an average of 43, with 6 half-centuries.
