Telugu Titans Clinch First Win of Season with 37-32 Triumph
Telugu Titans sealed their first win of Pro Kabaddi Season 12, defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers 37-32 in Vizag. Skipper Vijay Malik and Bharat Hooda scored eight points each, while Ajit Pawar secured a High Five.
As the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 clash unfolded in Vizag, the Telugu Titans finally broke their winless streak by defeating defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers 37-32 to secure their first victory of the season. Skipper Vijay Malik and raider Bharat Hooda were the stars, scoring eight points each, while Ajit Pawar’s High Five in defence proved decisive.
The match began on an even note, but Bharat’s sharp raids gave the Titans an early edge. His successive strikes, including dismissals of Ronak Singh and Sahil Satpal, set the tone. Jaipur briefly fought back through Nitin Rawal’s Super Tackle, but the Titans took firm control with an ALL OUT in the 13th minute, racing to a 16-9 lead at half-time. In the second half, Jaipur’s Nitin Kumar Dhankar led the fightback with a stunning Super 10, including a Super Raid that inflicted an ALL OUT on the Titans.
Supported by Reza Mirbagheri’s defence, the Pink Panthers closed the gap to just three points late in the game. However, with the contest in the balance, Vijay Malik sealed it with a Super Raid in the dying moments. The Titans’ 37-32 triumph marked their first win in seven attempts against the two-time champions.
