Manchester United to Pass on Vlahovic as Rivals Circle

Manchester United are set to avoid a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic despite his contract expiring in 2026.

Manchester United are set to avoid a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic despite his contract expiring in 2026. The Serbian, who has 62 goals in 150 Juventus appearances, wants a Premier League switch and seeks €10m wages plus a €10m sign-on fee. Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, and Newcastle are exploring potential moves.
Coming to the latest transfer update, Manchester United are expected to pass on the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic despite being repeatedly linked with the Serbian striker. Vlahovic, who has entered the final year of his contract at Juventus, has been offered to United before, but manager Ruben Amorim remains content with his revamped attack. The Red Devils secured Benjamin Sesko for £73.7 million this summer, alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, who are now central to Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system.
Joshua Zirkzee also remains in the squad, though he is likely to be sold in 2026 if a new striker arrives. Vlahovic’s future at Juventus is uncertain, with no contract renewal in sight. He is free to negotiate a pre-contract with overseas clubs from January 1, 2026, and reports suggest his camp will demand a €10 million signing-on fee and wages of around €10 million per season, roughly £165,000 a week.
While Vlahovic has scored 62 goals in 150 appearances for Juventus, including four in five games this season, United are not pursuing him. Instead, Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, and Newcastle are monitoring his situation. Juventus now face pressure to either secure fresh terms or risk losing their star striker for free in 2026.
