Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli amid Leroy Sane’s departure. The Brazilian has played 225 games for the Gunners since 2019. Despite signing a new deal until 2027, Arsenal could consider offers above £50m. Martinelli is keen to stay, but doubts remain due to Arsenal's winger transfer plans.

Coming to the latest update on Gabriel Martinelli, the Brazilian winger’s future at Arsenal has taken a new turn as Bayern Munich shows genuine interest in a summer transfer. Since joining the Gunners from Ituano in 2019 for just £6 million, Martinelli has made 225 appearances and has been a consistent presence, playing over 40 games in each of the last three seasons.

However, with Arsenal actively searching for a new winger, including past pursuits of Nico Williams, Rodrygo, and Noni Madueke as Martinelli’s game time could be affected. Bayern Munich, who recently lost Leroy Sane to Galatasaray, are now eyeing Martinelli to bolster their wings under new manager Vincent Kompany. The German giants had initially targeted Florian Wirtz but lost him to Liverpool in a £115 million move.

According to BILD, Bayern are now evaluating Martinelli’s potential and discussing the feasibility of a transfer. Arsenal, though, are in a strong position after extending Martinelli’s contract until 2027 and have reportedly set a price tag of at least £50 million. While Martinelli has expressed his desire to stay at Arsenal, Bayern’s interest and Arsenal’s hunt for fresh attacking options could still influence the final outcome of this transfer window.
