For the reigning Serie A champions Napoli, the summer transfer window has been nothing short of ambitious. After securing big names like Kevin De Bruyne, Noa Lang, Lorenzo Lucca, and Sam Beukema, the club is now targeting Juventus midfielder Fabio Miretti. The 21-year-old impressed on loan at Genoa last season with three goals and three assists in 25 appearances.
Despite his early promise, Miretti is no longer part of Igor Tudor’s plans at Juventus, especially with the club chasing midfielders like Morten Hjulmand. Napoli sees Miretti as a key reinforcement, particularly with Zambo Anguissa attracting interest from Chelsea. However, Napoli are hesitant about the €25 to 30 million price tag set by Juventus. A move to Naples could help Miretti revive his national team prospects, as he recently missed the Under-21 Euros due to a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, Napoli are also chasing Bologna’s Dan Ndoye to boost their wing options, though Nottingham Forest are currently leading the race. The Partenopei have already spent €28 million on Lang and could turn to other high-profile targets like Federico Chiesa or Jack Grealish if needed. As Napoli continues to reshape their squad, Miretti’s future could soon be settled.
