Erling Haaland has launched limited edition Breitling Chronomat watches featuring rare Muonionalusta meteorite dials. Two public models include a 500-piece steel and platinum GMT (£8,150) and a 250-piece rose gold B01 (£21,900 to £39,700). A special edition for Haaland and four others features a gold case, custom caseback, and is not for sale.
Coming to the world of luxury timepieces, Erling Haaland has stepped off the pitch and into the design studio, launching his own trilogy of Breitling Chronomat watches. The Manchester City striker collaborated closely with the brand to create two limited editions and one exclusive design reserved for himself and four close companions. All three feature striking meteorite dials made from Muonionalusta, a space rock over 4.5 billion years old.
The public can purchase two versions: the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 in stainless steel and platinum (500 pieces, priced from £8,150), and the Chronomat B01 42 in 18ct red gold (250 pieces, from £21,900). Both boast unique meteorite dials and precision engineering, the B01 models include a 70-hour power reserve and an open case back showcasing Breitling’s Caliber 01 movement.
Haaland’s personal model, not for sale, features a full rose gold case and bracelet with his iconic yoga goal celebration pose etched on the sapphire case back. Breitling CEO Georges Kern praised the collaboration, saying, “Erling plays like he’s from another planet,” making the meteorite dial a perfect fit. These watches not only reflect Haaland’s powerful persona but also mark Breitling’s first use of meteorite material in their designs.
