When the summer break arrived, Lamine Yamal didn’t hold back from making the most of it. After a breakthrough season with Barcelona, where he helped the club reach the UEFA Champions League semifinals, the newly turned 18-year-old indulged in a globe-trotting vacation. His journey began with a luxurious villa stay in Sicily, accompanied by influencer Fati Vazquez, who is 11 years older than him. Despite the buzz, Yamal denied dating rumours.
From there, Yamal travelled to Brazil, where he met Neymar at the superstar’s mansion in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro. After soaking in the sights of Rio, the Barcelona forward jetted off to Ibiza with friends and even reunited briefly with teammate Gavi. Not stopping there, he continued his travels to Marbella aboard a private jet. Throughout the summer, Yamal racked up thousands of air miles, capturing moments across continents, including e-foiling sessions and yacht parties.
However, the holiday ends as he returns to Barcelona on Monday to begin pre-season training. The session also marks the start of his new long-term contract, which runs until 2031. A special ceremony will be held at the club to honour this milestone, sparking speculation on whether Yamal will inherit Barcelona’s iconic number 10 shirt once worn by Messi.
