After the perfect start to the 2025-26 Bundesliga season, Harry Kane once again proved why he is Bayern Munich’s talisman. The England captain scored a hat-trick in a dominant 6-0 win over RB Leipzig, reaching 65 goals in 64 appearances for the club. Kane joked about Germany’s distinction between a “normal” and “flawless” hat-trick, admitting he only learned of the tradition during the game.
Alongside him, former Premier League players Michael Olise and new signing Luis Diaz also impressed. Olise netted twice, while Diaz scored once and assisted another, making it an “English evening” at the Allianz Arena. The victory eased concerns over Bayern’s lack of squad depth, following the departures of Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane, and Mathys Tel. Kane himself admitted it was the smallest squad he had played in, while Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich also called for reinforcements.
