Tottenham Hotspur have approached Manchester City for 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho in a deal worth around €50 million. As the summer transfer window progresses, Tottenham Hotspur have made an approach to Manchester City for 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho, discussing a package worth around €50 million (£43.3 million). City have stated they do not wish to sell and consider the matter closed, but other sources suggest Spurs’ interest is ongoing. Savinho, under contract until June 2028, is reportedly open to the move, and Pep Guardiola is known not to block players who want to leave.
The winger scored three goals in 48 appearances for City in 2024-25 and has one goal in 13 Brazil caps. His breakout came at Girona in 2023-24, netting 11 goals and providing 10 assists, helping them to a historic top-four La Liga finish. Tottenham’s pursuit comes after Son Heung-min’s departure to LAFC and injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski, leaving the squad short on creativity.
While Spurs have multiple wingers, coach Thomas Frank may use Savinho on the right wing to allow Mohammed Kudus to operate centrally. Savinho’s pace, dribbling, and versatility across both flanks could add dynamism, but questions remain over whether Spurs are prioritizing potential over proven impact, as the Brazilian managed only one league goal for City last season.
