During the 2025 summer transfer window, Chelsea has intensified their pursuit of Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons as part of a major attacking overhaul. Garnacho, 21, has been sidelined from United’s pre-season plans and is reportedly open to joining Chelsea, although the £50 million valuation may be a sticking point. Simons, 22, has agreed personal terms with Chelsea despite Bayern Munich's interest.

Leipzig, who signed Simons for €50 million from PSG, are asking for €70 million (£61m) and may target Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott as his replacement. Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson could leave Chelsea despite preferring to stay. With the arrivals of Liam Delap and João Pedro pushing him down the pecking order, Jackson is drawing interest from Newcastle, Milan, and other Serie A clubs. Chelsea could demand up to £80 million for the Senegal striker. Chelsea’s Spanish prospect Marc Guiu is set for a loan move to Sunderland.

Elsewhere, Everton have signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for £28 million, while Burnley are close to securing Armando Broja and Lesley Ugochukwu, both valued around £20 million. Chelsea have already sold Kepa, Madueke, Petrovic, and João Félix, generating over £100 million, and hope to offload more players including Sterling, Disasi, and Chilwell.
