In the upcoming second leg of the Pro Kabaddi League, UP Yoddhas aim to recover from a difficult run of four consecutive losses when they face Tamil Thalaivas at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium. Despite recent setbacks, the Yoddhas have shown glimpses of strong performances, with a well-balanced squad that blends defensive solidity with in-form raiders.

Gagan Gowda continues to spearhead the attack, scoring 69 points in six matches, including four Super Raids and four Super 10s, averaging 11.5 raid points per game. Supporting him are Guman Singh with 24 points and Bhavani Rajput with 16, providing crucial scoring depth. Defensively, captain Sumit Sangwan has been exceptional, averaging 3.3 tackle points per match, the highest in the league, anchoring the Yoddhas’ backline.

Assistant coach Upendra Malik emphasized the need to reduce small errors and strengthen cohesion between raiding and defensive units to convert efforts into victories. Tamil Thalaivas, with a mixed season so far, will also be keen to build momentum, but UP Yoddhas see this match as a chance to reset their campaign and climb the standings. With key players performing and team balance maintained, the Yoddhas are focused on securing a vital win to reignite their season.
