Jaipur Pink Panthers edged Gujarat Giants 31-30 in a thrilling tie-breaker at Vizag. Nitin Kumar starred with 15 points, including a Super 10 and the decisive Golden Raid. Despite Rakesh’s Super 10 and a late Giants ALL OUT, Jaipur capitalised on key moments, sealing their second tie-breaker win of the season.

When the Jaipur Pink Panthers faced Gujarat Giants in Vizag, the contest turned into one of the most thrilling matches of the season, decided only in a Golden Raid. Nitin Kumar emerged as the hero for the Pink Panthers, scoring 15 points and guiding his team to a dramatic victory after the scores were tied at 30-30. The Giants started brightly with Rakesh Sungroya’s early raids, including a Super Raid that put them 9-7 ahead in the first quarter.

Jaipur responded strongly through Nitin Kumar’s Super Raid and Ali Samadi’s contributions, with the score finely balanced at 11-11. By halftime, Gujarat regained a slender 16-15 lead, thanks to a Super Tackle from Nitin Panwar. The Pink Panthers turned the game after the break, capitalising on a yellow card to Himanshu Jaglan and inflicting an ALL OUT to move 25-21 ahead.

Nitin Kumar soon reached his Super 10, but Gujarat stormed back in the final minutes. Rakesh completed his Super 10 and engineered an ALL OUT to put the Giants four points up, only for Nitin Kumar to claw Jaipur back into contention. The tie-breaker went down to the wire, and in the decisive Golden Raid, Nitin Kumar delivered redemption for himself and his team, sealing a memorable win for the two-time champions.
