Season 12 opens with Telugu Titans vs Tamil Thalaivas and Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan.

As the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) gears up for its 12th season, the league will pay tribute to one of its greatest icons, Pardeep Narwal, ahead of the opening matches on August 29. Known as the ‘Dubki King,’ Narwal began his PKL journey with Bengaluru Bulls in Season 2, rose to stardom with Patna Pirates by leading them to three consecutive titles, and later represented UP Yoddhas before returning to Bengaluru Bulls in Season 11.

His career is highlighted by being the all-time leading raid points scorer in PKL history with 1,801 points, including a record-breaking 369 raids in Season 5 and the unforgettable eight-point raid in the playoffs. Former teammates and fellow stars praised Narwal’s contributions, with Manjeet Chhillar calling him one of the greatest players ever, and Vishal Mane recalling his extraordinary seven-point raid.

Rishank Devadiga highlighted Narwal’s lightning-fast dubkis, while Ajay Thakur emphasized that his legacy sets benchmarks for future generations. The felicitation ceremony will take place at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag, attended by fans, players, and dignitaries. PKL Season 12 will begin with Telugu Titans vs Tamil Thalaivas and Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan at the same venue.
