Naveen Kumar has said that there is full support from the Delhi team for him and he feels good to get that. After the U Mumba and Dabang Delhi game ended in a tie last evening, Mumba skipper Fazel Atrachali has said that the game was like a practice match as the result didn’t matter.

Naveen Kumar has handled the entire pressure of the Delhi team in the seventh edition of the PKL. He has the highest number of super 10s in a single season as he got past Pardeep Narwal’s record last evening. The game ended in a tie last evening and Naveen was the top-scorer in the game with a total of 12 raid points from 18 attempts.

When asked about the pressure of being the top raider for the team in a season, Naveen said that he is not under any pressure and has the full support of the team.

“I’m not facing any pressure. The entire team is behind me and they have told me to play freely. It feels good to have such support from the team. Even though this match was tied, we are first in the standings. Our confidence is high because we have maintained that position and we will prepare well for the coming matches,” Naveen told reporters.

On the other hand, U Mumba skipper Fazel Atrachali mentioned that the game last evening was like a practice match for the teams as they both had made it to the playoffs. Atrachali led the Mumba-based team really well as he collected six points from nine tackle attempts.

“Today was like a practice match for us because the result was not too important for qualification. We played only for building our confidence. The coming week is very important for us because it is like the start of a new phase,” explained the Mumba skipper.

“We have trained three months only for this and if we lose then it will all be for nothing. So, the next match is very important for us and we will have to give our 100 per cent.”
