‌The game of cricket has witnessed some stunning one-handed takes that took the batting team by surprise. One of the single-handed grabs was witnessed in the Last Super Fours game of the Asia Cup by Maheesh Theekshana, as his stunner ensured an early wicket of Shubman Gill in the game.

The last game of the Super Fours game of the Asia Cup 2025 between India and Sri Lanka has begun. Though this is a dead rubber game since India and Pakistan have already qualified for the final, which will be played on Sunday. Though there is not much on the line in this game, the fans were eager to see two of the highest run-getters of the Indian team, Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill, give a brilliant performance ahead of the upcoming final.

The two batters were looking good at the crease, with Gill getting off the mark with a beautiful flick over mid-wicket and Abhishek welcoming Maheesh Theekshana with a massive six. It seemed like the two would be putting on another great opening partnership until Theekshana broke the run-flow as the Indian vice-captain lobbed the ball in the air, and the Lankan mystery spinner took a stunning one-handed catch. With this, Gill was sent back to the dressing room for just four runs, and the opening stand could only manage 15 runs.
