PAK vs BAN | Twitter reacts as Taskin Ahmed gives a no more lifelines signal to Mohammad Nawaz

‌There are moments where interactions between players take the spotlight during the game. One of these instances was witnessed in the Asia Cup as Taskin Ahmed made a cheeky gesture towards Mohammad Nawaz after dismissing him in the penultimate over of the 17th game of the tournament.

The Pakistan batters struggled to get going in the Asia Cup match against Bangladesh and ended up being restricted to a below-par score of 135/8. Though the bowlers gave great performances with the ball, the same could not be said about the fielding of the Tigers. There were some disappointing efforts in the field by Bangladesh, which included some missed runouts and dropped catches, which gave the Men in Green a chance to set a decent total.

With the series of dropped chances, it is always a relief when a player takes a solid catch on the field. One of the catches was taken by Parvez Hossain Emon in the 19th over.  Despite misjudging the catch at the start, he managed to take the catch in the end as Mohammad Nawaz was finally dismissed on a score of 25 ,and Taskin Ahmed got his third wicket in the game. However, what caught the attention was the cheeky gesture from Taskin signalling to Nawaz that there are no more chances for you this time. This was a hilarious reaction from the right arm pacer who was visibly annoyed with the number of dropped chances at the start and was relieved that another chance dd not go begging.

Taskin’s reaction left everyone in splits.
