India-Pakistan rivalry games have been known for their dramatic and iconic moments and great battles between players. Indian opener Abhishek Sharma produced one of the iconic moments as he welcomed Shaheen Afridi with a massive six on the first ball of the over of the Indian chase.

The first innings of the India vs Pakistan game has come to an end with the Green Shirts setting a competitive total of 171 on the board. The top performers for Pakistan were Sahibzada Farhan, who scored a terrific half-century, while Salman Agha, Mohammad Nawaz, and Faheem Ashraf’s cameos at the backend helped the team as well. Though the total seemed challenging on a surface that has been slow and dry for the majority of the tournament. The Indian openers seemed unaffected by it and started the innings in style.
Indian opener Abhishek Sharma played the first delivery of the innings and welcomed Pakistan’s premier pacer Shaheen Afridi with a six over the fine leg region. This was a prime example of the fearless and aggressive attitude of the Southpaw, who was not afraid to show his talent against one of the best pacers in modern-day cricket. There were also a few words shared by the Punjab-born batter after the massive six, which implied the Indian team is willing to answer back to the arch-rivals with words and willow.
What a start by the young batter.
