Crowd catches give the fans a moment to shine on the big screen, and they look to make the most out of the opportunity. However, one of the fans in the second ODI between Australia and South Africa managed to get two opportunities to take the limelight and ensured he did not let it spurn.

‌The second ODI between Australia and South Africa saw South Africa winning the toss and deciding to bat first. This was another opportunity for the Proteas to start well and put some runs on the board, like the first game. Unfortunately, they did not get the best of starts as the visitors lost their openers early in the power play. While it might not have been a great beginning, Tony de Zorzi and Matthew Breetzke made sure that some crucial runs came towards the end of the power play. The visitors, who struggled to get going in the first seven overs, finally broke the shackles in the eighth over, with Breetzke smashing Aaron Hardie for 16 runs which included two incredible sixes. While the sixes were a nightmare for the hosts, it was a show-stealing moment for one of the fans.

The two sixes by Breetzke were hit in the same square leg region, and though the Aussie fielders had no chance to get their hands on the ball, a young fan got two opportunities to shine on the big screen. The first six of the over came on the fourth delivery, where Breetzke swiveled it for six straight to the fan's hands who managed to get them under the ball but failed to hold on as the Kookaburra hit his wrist and slipped out of his grasp. However, he managed to redeem himself on the second six hit by the batter, which was flicked over the boundary rope. On this occasion, the young man managed to take the catch and got his chance to celebrate the moment in front of the cricketing world.

The game of cricket gave him a second chance to take the spotlight.
