PBKS vs KKR | Twitter in disbelief as Yuzvendra Chahal’s four-fer flips the script for Punjab

Seasoned bowlers always bide their time, waiting for the perfect moment to showcase their class. Yuzvendra Chahal proved just that for Punjab Kings at Mullanpur as his four-fer against Kolkata Knight Riders didn’t just rattle the opposition; it momentarily shifted the momentum in Punjab's favour.

‌Kolkata’s chase of Punjab’s modest 111 got off to a shaky start, with their batting faltering early. Openers Sunil Narine and Quinton de Kock were both dismissed within the powerplay, leaving KKR reeling at 12/2 after just two overs. While Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi briefly steadied the ship with a 55-run partnership, it was Yuzvendra Chahal’s four-fer that truly swung the momentum in Punjab's favour, putting KKR on the backfoot once again.

After claiming the wickets of Rahane and Raghuvanshi, Yuzvendra Chahal was given the ball for the 12th over. On the third ball, he bowled a flighted delivery, full around the fourth stump, slower through the air. The ball pitched and turned back in, drawing Rinku Singh forward as he attempted to push it on the off side. But Rinku, misjudging the length, was beaten on the inside edge and stepped out of his crease. On the very next delivery, Chahal fired in a fuller ball around middle and leg. Ramandeep Singh, attempting to lap it to the fine leg boundary, got a top edge that sailed over the keeper’s left shoulder. Shreyas Iyer at first slip moved swiftly to his left, taking a simple catch. Chahal’s four-wicket haul had not only changed the course of the game but sent Twitter into a frenzy.
