It is 2024 and yet the oldest trick in the sporting pranks playbook continue to illuminate our screens with the same charm as always. Rishabh Pant made his way into the India A team huddle in Bengaluru on Sunday to be a part of Shubman Gill's final pep talk to hus players before Day 4's play.

India A took to the field on Sunday in Bengaluru trailing the game after Musheer Khan's ton had earned India a 90-run first innings lead before the side put up 150/6 on the board by Stumps on Day 3. The Shubman Gill-led bowling side needed something special to spur them on and the youngster obliged with his final pep talk before the beginning of play, little aware there was an impostor in the huddle.

Rishabh Pant, representing India B, had sneaked in opposite of Shubman and wrapped his arms around Akash Deep while the skipper delivered his statement. The wicket-keeper batter listened patiently to the entire piece before breaking up with the huddle which is when Avesh Khan noticed Pant's predence among them. The pacer was quick to see the funny side of things as he bantered with Pant before the two went separate ways.

Twitterati was all too amused by the incident and quickly took to Twitter.
