Despite a promising partnership of 84 runs between Tilak Verma and Naman Dhir, Mumbai's hopes rested on a miraculous chase.

In the 11th over, Naman Dhir's departure shifted the focus onto Hardik Pandya, who entered the fray amidst enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. His confident stride to the crease, accompanied by a subtle groove to the pulsating stadium music, signalled his ability to handle pressure with ease. Taking his stance, Pandya faced the final two deliveries of the over from Unadkat.
