Aaron Finch who was nursing an injury is deemed fit for the three-match T20I series versus Sri lanka, but the Australia skipper will miss the services of Andrew Tye who is ruled out with an elbow injury. Australia begin their T20I series against Sri Lanka at Adelaide on Sunday, October 27.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch recovers in time to get selected for the T20 series against Sri Lanka. Andrew Tye is ruled out with an elbow injury that he sustained on Friday. According to a cricket.com.au report, Tye injured his right elbow and barely took any part in Australia's training session. Tye's replacement has not been announced yet but will be expected in the coming days.

Thankfully, Australia have a great depth in the pace bowling department with the likes of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Kane Richardson, and Billy Stanlake so they are unlikely to miss Tye's presence.

The 32-year-old Aussie skipper Finch has confirmed that he has fully recovered from a side injury and will play the first T20I in Adelaide. His side strain against a Sheffield Shield match against South Australia kept him in doubt for the Sri Lanka series, but he took the necessary precautionary measures to get back to full fitness.
