Hyderabad says it cannot host the Test against Bangladesh

In a surprise development, the Hyderabad Cricket Association(HCA) has reportedly revealed that it cannot host the solitary Test between India and Bangladesh scheduled from Feb 8-12 due to lack of funds. The TNCA also has given the same reason for being unable to host two U-19 matches in February.
The legal battle involving the Lodha committee and the BCCI seems to have a chain reaction with the state associations across the country. According to a report by The Hindu on Sunday, the Hyderabad Cricket Association(HCA) has expressed its inability to host the Test match between India and Bangladesh at the Uppal stadium scheduled to be played from February 8 to 12. The association has cited lack of funds as the reason for withdrawing.
In another development, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has informed the BCCI that it cannot host the two under-19 Test matches between India and England at Chennai that were scheduled from February 13 to 24.
The TNCA communication was received by the BCCI on the day the U-19 national selection committee chose the probables for the 5 ODIs and two Test matches against England under-19.
According to the report, a senior BCCI official, who was deposed by the Supreme Court order of January 3, had revealed the possibility of full-member associations not offering venues for BCCI's matches.
If the rumours turn out to be true, then India's four-match Test series against Australia could be in serious jeopardy.
