Wriddhiman Saha has confessed that he takes pleasure in keeping wickets to the Indian spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. The 32-year-old stumper also admitted that Virat Kohli always seeks his opinion when it comes to reviewing a decision using the Decision Review System (DRS).

"I enjoy wicket-keeping on turning tracks because on such wickets more balls are coming towards you and as a result, as a wicketkeeper, you have to remain focused all the time. I really enjoy wicket-keeping against Ashwin and Jadeja," said Saha (ANI).

Saha's efforts have been invaluable in helping India reach the no.1 spot in the ICC Test rankings as he has contributed with both the bat as well as the gloves in ever since MS Dhoni's retirement from Test cricket. He further added that maintaining concentration and being attentive all the time is significant for a wicketkeeper, particularly on a turning wicket.

During India's second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo, Saha proved his worth once again as he scored 53 runs during India's first innings and then took an absolute blinder to dismiss Angelo Mathews during Sri Lanka's second innings. And these kinds of performances are what has made skipper Virat Kohli believe that he is the best keeper in the Test format.

"Four byes on that sort of pitch speaks volumes of the kind of ability he (Saha) has. He’s right up there in world cricket among the very best. He's the best keeper in this format right now, I'd say," Kohli said. Saha's contributions helped India clinch the three match series 2-0

Saha's contributions once again helped India clinch the three match series 2-0. And he also clarified his role when it comes to using the DRS system as he added, "Virat always asks me and Rahane about our views on a particular decision. He asks whether we are 100 percent sure or not. Only then, he (Kohli) takes his decision whether to go for DRS or not."

The wicketkeeper-batsman also maintained that he is not concerned about which position he bats at and that his only aim is to engage in forceful cricket.
