Stuart Broad has undergone scans on his right foot after feeling some pain during the second day of the ongoing Test series against India in Visakhapatnam on Friday. He had struggled with injury on the opening day as well having to leave the field with pain in his wrist and right foot.

Broad bowled just 16 overs in the first innings and ending with figures of 1/49. The Englishman bowled just four overs on the second day as India finished the first innings with a score of 455.

England got off to a bad start in their first innings ending Day 2 at a score of 103/5. However, if need be and the Brits find themselves in a spot of bother, Broad will come out to bat.  However,  looking the events of the last couple of days, the pacer is likely to miss the third Test in Mohali. It appears the final call will be taken after the scan results, which are expected to come in today in the afternoon.

England do have two more pacers in their squad in Steven Finn and Jake Ball, along with Chris Woakes, who was replaced by James Andersen for the second Test.
